Pemex Petroquimica settled its domestic propylene prices for September at $1,073/mt for polymer-grade product, down $33/mt from August, and $998/mt for chemical-grade product, $30/mt lower from August, sources said. The price decreases in the Mexican contracts mirrored the fall in the propylene CP in the US Gulf Coast for August. In the US, September polymer-grade propylene contracts were expected to increase in a range of 2.5-4 cents/lb, sources said.
