Spot buying was limited in the North African polypropylene market this week, sources said, adding that March business was done and industry players were mostly sidelined awaiting April offers. They added that published offers were scarce and heard significantly higher at around $1,600-1,620/mt CFR Alexandria, reflecting increased feedstock propylene cost. "North Africa, particularly Egypt, is trying to catch up after lagging behind quite a bit," a supplier said.
