Russian oil output slips for second month

Moscow-Russia’s crude and condensate output fell for the second consecutive month in May, extending a fall from a peak at 10.91 million b/d in March, according to official government data. Output in May averaged 10.83 million b/d, a small fall month on month to the lowest level since December, though the year-on-year comparison remained positive with growth of 1.1%, preliminary data from the Central Dispatching Unit showed Thursday.
