Vietnam’s 2017 jet fuel demand expected to rise 13%

Demand for jet fuel in Vietnam is expected to rise to nearly 2 million mt in 2017, up 13.1% from the estimated demand this year, an official from a leading Vietnamese supplier said Wednesday. Jet fuel demand is rising in line with economic growth and is estimated to jump 25.8% year on year to 1.77 million mt in 2016, Do Xuan Hiep, acting manager of Technical Innovation Department at Skypec, said at an industry conference of the International Air Transport Association in Hanoi.
