Vitol’s Baltic oil terminal warns over impact from red tape

London-Ventspils Nafta Terminals, one of the biggest oil products transshipment hubs in the Baltics, has seen volumes slide more than a quarter this year and warned of further headwinds Friday due to delays over local approvals for new equipment. The Baltic Sea terminal handled 3.8 million mt of refined products in the first five months of 2016, or a 27% drop year on year, Ventspils Nafta Terminals said.
