US EIA boosts Brent, WTI price forecast

Washington-In recent weeks, the oil market has shown signs of balancing, as low prices appear to have stimulated demand, while US production has declined. Accordingly, the US Energy Information Administration on Tuesday drastically raised its oil price forecasts for 2016 and 2017, citing “tighter market balances, particularly for the second half of 2017, based on a stronger outlook for global oil consumption.”
