Saudi Aramco has shut its open credit line to state-owned Egyptian General Petroleum Corp. (EGPC), halting its supply of all refined products into Egypt, traders said Thursday. Saudi Arabia had agreed early this year to supply Egypt with some $20 billion worth of oil products over five years, according to unconfirmed reports. It remained unclear, however, the reasons for the current closing of credit lines, traders said.
