Abu Dhabi—A year after launching its first sour gas project, state-owned Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. plans to expand its Al-Hosn Gas joint venture by as much as 50%, the company said Tuesday. The $10 billion Al-Hosn facility, a joint venture with the US company Occidental Petroleum, began operations in 2015 processing gas from the Shah sour gas field in the western region of Abu Dhabi, and reached its 1 Bcf/d capacity by the second quarter of 2015.
