Huajin first independent to get jet fuel export quota

Singapore-Chinese independent refiner Huajin Chemical has been given a jet fuel export quota of 30,000 mt for the third quarter, becoming the first independent refiner to be allowed to export jet fuel. It is the fifth company in China to be allowed to export the fuel; the other four are the state-owned majors Sinopec, CNPC, CNOOC and Sinochem. Huajin plans to use the quota by the end of October, a company source said Thursday.
