US crude midstream industry approaches consolidation

Houston-The US crude midstream industry is likely entering into a phase of consolidation through mergers and acquisitions as better access to capital and pipeline overcapacity bring bids and offers closer together. Debt markets are opening up to the oil industry again, and equity markets are bullish on crude now, Deloitte Partner Ray Ballotta said Wednesday at the 2016 Deloitte Oil and Gas Conference.
