Dubai-Abu Dhabi’s rulers reshuffled the oil exporting emirate’s Supreme Petroleum Council late Tuesday in a move that further tightens the grip of its powerful crown prince on the UAE’s key industry. Abu Dhabi holds most of the UAE’s oil and gas reserves including all the Persian Gulf state’s major offshore and onshore fields. The latest Platts survey of OPEC production showed UAE crude output in February at 2.85 million b/d.
