Seoul—South Korean refiner Hyundai Oilbank has started commercial production at its condensate splitter, the company said Tuesday. “The condensate splitter with a capacity of 130,000 b/d will produce 50,000 b/d of oil products,including gasoil and jet fuel, and 1.2 million mt/year of mixed xylenes and 1 million mt/year of light naphtha,” the company said in a statement. The unit had been carrying out test runs since October before starting commercial production on Tuesday, it said.
