Omani crude output falls back from record high

Oman crude production fell to 911,000 b/d in September from a record 917,000 b/d the previous month, the latest figures from the sultanate’s National Centre for Statistics and Information showed. The 0.7% month-on-month output decline comes amid intense discussions between OPEC members and several major international producers from outside the group, including Oman, on the details of a proposal to support the oil market by freezing joint output.
