Oriental energy starts up new PDh plant

China’s Oriental Energy this month started up its new propane dehydrogenation plant in Ningbo and has recently achieved on-spec production of propylene, a source familiar with the matter said Tuesday. The PDH plant, with a propylene production capacity of 660,000 mt/year, is Oriental’s second such plant in China.
