Libyan tanker inquiry bodes well for Ras Lanuf exports

Libya's state-owned National Oil Corporation plans to load crude later this month from the country's third largest oil terminal, Ras Lanuf, for the first time in 18 months, shipping and trading sources told S&P Global Platts Thursday. The move could mark the restart of limited crude exports from the port which has been shut for export loadings since December 2014 due to security concerns and feuding between Libya's rival political factions.
