Lundin sees record output in Q3 as new fields kick in

Copenhagen—Swedish independent Lundin Petroleum Wednesday reported record thirdquarter oil and gas production, helped by output from new fields continuing to ramp up, and narrowed its production guidance for the full year to the upper reaches of its previous outlook. Stockholm-listed Lundin, which holds a 22.6% stake in one of the biggest finds ever made offshore Norway in the form of the developing Johan Sverdrup field, said Q3 output hit 80,400 b/d of oil equivalent, over twice as much as the 36,000 boe/d for the same period last year.
