Genel Energy and DNO, the two biggest international oil producers in Iraqi Kurdistan, have reported sharply lower government payments for their oil exports in January under a recently-announced monthly arrangement with the semi-autonomous region. Despite a government pledge last week to pay producers their full monthly contractual dues, the new formula explicitly links payments to international crude prices.
