Permian operator Concho buys Delaware Basin acreage

Houston-Permian Basin upstream power- house Concho Resources is set to acquire a swath of acreage in the northwest part of the basin for $430 million from an undisclosed buyer, in a deal that expands the size of its oil-rich Red Hills footprint more than 25% and also kicks up its 2017 production guidance by at least 1%.
