Uganda plans to award exploration licenses in the Albertine Graben region to three more international oil companies as the country nears its first commercial oil production, Elly Karuhanga, chairman of the Uganda Chamber of Mines and Petroleum, said Wednesday at an oil and gas convention in Kampala.
