摘要

London-Make-or-break talks started Thursday morning between Norwegian producers and key unions over pay and conditions, which if they fail, would trigger strikes that will hit about 6% of the country’s oil and gas production. A government appointed mediator began the talks between the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association representing the companies and three unions, following the collapse of previous regular talks on the wage agreement. The deadline for an agreement is midnight Friday Norwegian time or 2200 GMT, after which if there is no deal strikes will take place.
