Caracas-The decline in Venezuelan crude production is accelerating, according to a monthly internal report by an oversight committee for state-owned PDVSA and seen by Platts on Tuesday. The report reveals that oil production fell to 2,468,200 b/d in May, down by 194,500 b/d from 2,662,700 b/d in January, and 113,600 from April. It was the biggest monthly fall since at least January 2015 This volume includes condensates and natural gas produced by PDVSA independently as well as in partnerships.
