China’s Shenchi on track to receive first crude import

Singapore-Shenchi Petrochemical, an inde- pendent refinery in China’s Shandong province, is on track to receive its first crude oil import quota, totaling 2.52 million mt/year (50,607 b/d), China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation said on its website last week. CPCIF said it conducted on-site inspection at the Shenchi Petrochemical refinery over June 28-30, and welcomes public feedback with regards to the quota allocation to the refinery before August 26.
