BP announced Monday the appointment of upstream head Lamar McKay to a new position of Deputy Group Chief Executive as part of moves to "realign" its executive board. McKay, 56, will assume some duties currently borne by BP CEO Bob Dudley in addition to focusing on strategy, long-term planning, safety, technology, and corporate governance, BP said.
