Cairo-Libya’s National Oil Corp said Thurs- day it has successfully reopened Zueitina port in the east of the country to allow some 620,000 barrels of crude to be transferred to the Zawiya refinery in the west of the country, as the threat of armed clashes around the port increase. Shipments from the port, which can load 75,000 b/d of crude, had been closed since November 2015 due to a blockade by a militia group, the Petroleum Facilities Guards.
