Oman ships first crude from new Musandam terminal

Dubai-State-run Oman Oil Co. Exploration and Production has exported its first crude shipment from a new Omani oil terminal, the company said, in a move that advances the sultanate’s plans for competing effectively in international markets also supplied by major OPEC producers of Persian Gulf crude. The upstream unit of Oman Oil Co. said in a statement this week that it had completed loading on May 4 of the first crude shipment fully processed at the Musandam Gas Plant.
