Idemitsu to process slightly less crude in Q4

Japanese refiner Idemitsu Kosan said Thursday it plans to process a total of 6.87 million kiloliters (469,684 b/d) of crude oil over October-December, down 1% from a year ago. For the domestic market, Idemitsu plans to process 6.55 million kl of crude in October- December, down 2% year on year as it expects Japan's oil products demand to decrease from a year ago, partly due to increased fuel efficiencies of cars, the company said.
