Mitsubishi to launch Australian diesel sales in June

Sydney-Japan’s Mitsubishi Corp. is set to begin sales of diesel from its new A$110 million ($83 million) import terminal at Port Bonython in South Australia in June, a company spokesman said Thursday. Mitsubishi’s wholly owned Australian petroleum business subsidiary Petro Diamond Australia acquired Port Bonython Fuels, which held the licenses to build and operate the terminal, in January 2013. The facility will serve the remote region’s mining and transport industries.
