Output starts at Thailand’s Nong Yao field

Dubai—Oil production started Wednesday from Thailand’s offshore Nong Yao field and is expected to peak at 10,000 b/d after further production wells are completed, operator Mubadala Petroleum said Thursday. Nong Yao’s output puts Mubadala, an international oil and gas producer owned by the government of Abu Dhabi, on track to pump about 10% of its output from Thailand this year, making it one of the largest producers of Thai crude.
