Rosneft to build new tankers for offshore oil

Rosneft is poised to begin building several oil tankers and other vessels needed for the development of offshore oil projects, including in harsh Arctic waters, at a new shipyard in Russia's Far East, CEO Igor Sechin said Thursday. The new tankers will be used to export crude and oil products from Baltic ports on a CIF basis, Rosneft said, a term referring to export pricing which includes delivery to a buyer's port and insurance.
