PV Gas project nears completion, to lift LPG supply

Hanoi-State-controlled PetroVietnam Gas said Monday it expects to complete construction of its Ca Mau gas processing plant in the southern province of Ca Mau, in the middle of next year, which would help to sharply lift domestic LPG supplies and reduce dependence on imports. Construction of the plant had started in February 2015, and was initially targeted for completion in late 2016. But this was pushed back to the first quarter of 2017, according to a report released by PV Gas on March 31.
