Calgary—Suncor’s ability to maintain a low cash operating cost of C$34.45/b ($28/b) in the the fourth quarter 2014 for its Alberta oil sands operations is helping the company weather the current price environment and move ahead with two major oil projects, CEO Steve Williams said Thursday. “We are working towards becoming the most low cost industry operator in 2015 and this has helped to manage the downturn and grow the business,” Williams said during an earnings call.
