Tesoro delays Uinta Express crude pipeline project

Houston-Tesoro Refining and Marketing put its Uinta Express crude pipeline in Utah on hold, citing “unfavorable market conditions and challenged economic feasibility,” a com- pany spokeswoman said. “Over the past several months, we’ve been performing an internal review of our proposed projects to determine where they will fit in our portfolio going forward,” Tesoro spokeswoman Tina Barbee said in an email late Friday. “Unfortunately, due to unfavor- able market conditions and challenged economic feasibility, we have decided not to advance the Uinta Express Pipeline project at this time.”
