Australia’s Woodside posts lower H1 output

Sydney—Australia’s Woodside Petroleum produced 42 million barrels of oil equivalent in the first half of 2015, 9.7% lower year on year, but remains on track to hit its targeted output of between 86 million and 94 million boe for the full year, the company said Wednesday. The production decline was mainly due to it undertaking the first major planned turnaround at its 90%-owned Pluto LNG project in Western Australia.
