Tullow gets mixed results in latest Kenya drilling

The UK’s Tullow Oil reported Wednesday two encouraging appraisal wells at its core exploration play in Kenya’s South Lokichar Basin but said frontier exploration wells in the country failed to hit oil. Wells on the Amosing field in block 10 BB in northwest Kenya two wells flowed at up 6,000 b/d in tests, the company said.
