New York-Oil futures settled lower Tuesday as a stronger US dollar and slowdown in the US oil rig count outweighed the risks from persistent fighting in the Middle East. NYMEX July crude settled $1.69 lower at $58.03/b. ICE July Brent settled down $1.80 at $63.72/b. In refined product activity, NYMEX June ULSD settled 5.23 cents lower at $1.9002/gal, while NYMEX June RBOB settled down 5.56 cents at $1.9983/gal.
