YPF, Sinopec plan joint oil projects in Argentina

Buenos Aires—Argentina’s state-run energy company YPF and China’s Sinopec signed a memorandum of understanding Wednesday to work together on new oil and natural gas projects in the South American country. The companies will look to develop projects for conventional and unconventional exploration and production, as well as downstream projects, YPF said in a statement. The focus will be on pooling resources “to maximize potentials in the entire value chain,” YPF said.
