Iraq to issue Basrah Heavy OSP for May

Dubai-Iraq’s State Oil Marketing Organization has confirmed it will issue an official selling price (OSP) for its new Basrah heavy crude grade for May, sources close to the company said Monday. SOMO plans to sell the new Basrah Heavy crude from next month with an API gravity of 25 or 26 degrees, although the the final quality not been decided, one of the sources said.
