Calgary—Enbridge will start up by year-end the long-delayed Line 9 crude oil reversal project in Eastern Canada, with the company now mulling options to increase its capacity beyond the planned 300,000 b/d, company President Guy Jarvis said Wednesday. “The recent NEB [National Energy Board] approval paves the way to put the line into action by end-2015 and a coordination with startup shippers is now underway [for line filling],” Jarvis said on a webcast of the company’s Investor Day in Toronto.
