Washington-Unlike its ethanol producing counterparts, the US biodiesel industry does not have much ability to export its product to counter uncertainty over the future of the Renewable Fuel Standard. The US exported a mere average of 6,135 b/d of biodiesel through the first 10 months of 2014, according to the Energy Information Administration.
