Sinopec, CNOOC lift product exports

Singapore—China’s state-owned refiners have been following slightly different operating strategies in a climate of weak domestic demand, with Sinopec and CNOOC aiming for higher exports, while PetroChina is keeping its run rates steady. A Platts monthly survey on refinery run rates in October showed that the 14 Sinopec refineries covered in the survey planned to process an average of 3.05 million b/d this month.
