Arab oil producers rally around Egypt

Dubai—Major Arab oil producers in the Persian Gulf region are continuing to rally around Egypt, despite the dent that lower oil prices have made in their budgets. That bodes well for the Egyptian government’s attempts to revive the North African country’s economy, including its oil and gas sector, by attracting more foreign investment and pursuing initiatives aimed at ending the domestic energy crisis.
