Unipetrol begins supply of jet fuel to Czech stocks

London—Czech refiner Unipetrol has begun supplying jet fuel to the country’s strategic stocks, having won a tender in November, the company said Monday. Unipetrol, which is majority-owned by Poland’s PKN Orlen, will ensure the supply of 40,000 cubic meters of A1 aviation fuel to the Czech stockpiles, it said. The first trains with the fuel, intended for the Czech Air Force, arrived at the relevant storage facility in the last few days, it said, with final deliveries expected to be completed by October.
