Iran urges OPEC producers to cut supply

Tehran—OPEC’s current policy has proved unsuccessful in marginalizing shale oil, Iranian oil minister Bijan Zanganeh said Wednesday, urging fellow members of the oil producers group to cut crude supply to push prices higher. Iran, he said, saw $70-$80/b as a favorable price range for crude and would pursue this target within OPEC.
