China refiners to lift runs to 82% in January

Singapore—Chinese state-owned refiners’ plan to run their plants at 82% of capacity, compared with 80% planned for December, a Platts monthly survey showed Thursday. This is also slightly higher than the average run rate of 81% for full year 2014, according to Platts data. The 25 refineries surveyed plan to process 20.93 million mt (4.95 million b/d) of crude oil in January.
