Houston—As oil prices persist at low levels, the latest round of bank reevaluations of upstream producers’ credit lines was relatively benign, even as operators continued bracing for what forecasters say is likely a couple of more lean quarters. During the second of two yearly redeterminations that set limits for companies’ capacity to borrow money, banks so far have been generous to producers by apparently setting more capital aside for them and making the process relatively painless this time around, analysts said.
