Istanbul—Exports of Kurdish light crude oil transited by truck to Turkey’s Atas terminal have doubled over the past few weeks in the wake of a sabotage attack and a number of theft incidents on the Iraq-Turkey oil pipeline, sources close to the trade said. Prior to the pipeline outages around 120- 150 trucks/day were delivering 2,000 to 3,000 mt/d of light crudes to the Atas terminal, but that subsequently the volumes have risen to around 5,000 mt/d, one source said.
