London—Canada-based Bankers Petroleum has postponed a new pipeline project at its major Patos-Marinza field onshore Albania due to the falling oil price, the company said Tuesday. In a fourth quarter update, the company said it also saw its average oil price in the quarter fall to just $57.31/b compared with $78.55/b in the previous quarter. Bankers said it would complete two pipeline projects at Patos-Marinza, but defer a third.
