OMV lifts Q2 output despite Yemen, Libya shut-ins

London-Austria’s OMV increased its oil and gas output in the second quarter to 307,000 b/d of oil equivalent, up 1.3% on the previous quarter, as increased Norwegian production compensated for the lack of output from its operations in Yemen and Libya. Higher Norwegian production volumes were a result of the Gudrun field ramping up following technical issues in the first quarter, OMV said in a trading statement.
