Singapore—Japanese refiners and traders are increasing exports of jet fuel and gasoil on a spot basis over January-February in the face of sluggish heating demand for kerosene and weaker-than-expected demand for diesel. Trading sources said Japanese refiners are likely to export around four to five medium range cargoes, or up to 1.58 million barrels, of jet fuel in February, up from the usual monthly outflow of two to three MR cargoes.
