Rajasthan output seen flat despite low prices

Mumbai—Cairn India expects production at its flagship Rajasthan block to continue at current levels of around 175,000 b/d for the next two years, despite lower oil prices and substantial cuts in capital expenditure, company officials said Thursday. Cairn India also reiterated that it would spend $500 million in capex in this fiscal year (April 2015-March 2016), the revised spend it announced in March on falling global crude prices.
